Chillers & Heat Exchangers

A chiller is a device that regulates temperature by circulating a liquid such as water or a heat medium such as a liquid whose temperature is adjusted by means of a refrigeration cycle. In addition to maintaining the temperature of various industrial and laboratory equipment, instruments and equipment at a constant level, it is also used for air conditioning in buildings and factories. An Chiller can supply chilled water continuously while circulating the water in the air conditioning device. It is used as a suitable equipment for refrigerating heat-generating parts and air- conditioning equipment, such as laser processing equipment and high- frequency heating equipment at a constant temperature, solving various refrigerating problems and saving energy. Can reduce operating costs. and improve efficiency.

Heat Exchangers

A heat exchanger is a system used to transfer heat between a source and a working fluid. Heat exchangers are used in both cooling and heating processes.

[1]  The fluids may be separated by a solid wall to prevent mixing or they may be in direct contact.

[2] They are widely used in space heating, refrigeration, air conditioning, power stations, chemical plants, petrochemical plants, petroleum refineries, natural-gas processing, and sewage treatment.

The classic example of a heat exchanger is found in an internal combustion engine in which a circulating fluid known as engine coolant flows through radiator coils and air flows past the coils, which cools the coolant and heats the incoming air. Another example is the heat sink, which is a passive heat exchanger that transfers the heat generated by an electronic or a mechanical device to a fluid medium, often air or a liquid coolant.
